Improve colour sequencing to help reduce RBE
Reduce RBE (DLP Rainbow Effect) by improving the colour sequencing. While this can't be eliminated entirely with current DLP technology (except with expensive 3 chip DLP) it should be possible to improve the colour sequencing to minimise RBE. Some other RGB DLP projectors are reported to have less RBE so it should be possible. This needs to be tested by people who can actually see RBE. Also, ideally add a menu item that allows the sequencing method to be chosen by the user.

I think adding another one, maybe something like Warm3 with a new sequence would be great and leave the others as is.

I believe the beta RBE focused DLP Update was only with XPR on/4k. Shift 1-4 Current Warm1: RBG RBG RBG RBG Beta DLP Update: RGB GRG RGR GRG

Maybe something like the following might work (could also be done for 1080P by running at 240hz (for 60hz) and repeating each frame 4 times): RBG BRG RGB GRB

They may already be doing that for Warm2, Standard & Cool. I think you want less of a harsh transition between colors which is why Warm2 helps to reduce RBE, so I really have no idea how the other pattern would help. The downside is that in Warm2 the contrast takes a hit, so maybe the other pattern would minimize that. I'm also not sure how the timing works here but you can see the pattern is repeated: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/9hht8iaws28299q97fnl5/pro2-color-sequence.mp4?rlkey=sc57uedz86xzdf62iqoe1xugp&st=4u6963sr&dl=0 RYBCG RYBCG RYBCG RYBCG

There should be an option in menu to further reduce RBE especially for subtitles even if it's at the expense of contrast as even standard mode rbe is still distracting.

Fixed on Max and it does decrease RBE significantly. Downsides: Does not work in 3D Increased digital noise Increased projector noise Slightly changes white balance
