EBL Color Shift (Red Tint)

EBL introduces red tint in low APL scenes—worse at low laser levels, still visible even at laser 10. After turning off EBL, are the above two the same phenomenon? I did not find this phenomenon on my Pro2. By the way, what is this content?

Hi Sunny, The videos above just demonstrate how it's not as noticeable at higher laser levels. This doesn't mean it's solved at laser 10 by any means though it's just that the shift is less apparent. The content is Severance Season 2 Episode 1 around 24:50-25:15.

I personally find this quite distracting. Faces can change to a red tint mid-scene, not just on a scene change or cut

I absolutely find this horrendous when backgrounds flash to diff. color tone or faces change colors - and after trying every setting in the menu, the only thing that fixes it is turning OFF EBL completely. Valerion, please fix this asap! Its been more than 2 months since this issue was pointed out. It happens in HDR10, HDR10+, and especially the Dolby Vision content. One pattern I've been noticing around this issue is most people who see it have a White Matte scree. IE: Thunderbolts 4K disc is almost impossible to watch it keeps jumping up and down in color tone and brightness.

I have recently been in contact with Valerion about this. Apparently there will be a firmware update in October that should address this. Although I'm a bit suspicious that the previous firmware update was also supposed to address this and didn't seem to make any improvement. Also, seems strange that some people get red tint and I get green tint. Makes me wonder how they can fix this with firmware.
